ADL’s Stable Foam

ADL Stable Foam is water-soluble, hydrocarbon dispersible, unique blend of high foaming surfactant compounds. Stable Foam was specifically designed to work with customized remediation equipment. ADL carefully controls the foam density by precise scientific calculations, regulating the concentration of the foaming agent, monitoring water quality, metering air/N2 ratios, temperature, and velocity rates.

As a core product, Stable Foam is customized to meet the defined needs of each assessed oil or gas well. Stable Foam is NOT a traditional slick water application. A sour well containing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) can be captured by blending additives into the foam, absorbing the H2S and containing it.

Stable Foam can be generated with air or nitrogen, thereby constantly maintaining an underbalanced well bore environment, providing a much more effective cleanout. With the lifting ability of Stable Foam, even using air, the cleanout can be conducted within the IRP-18 and Directive 033 safety standards.

Additives may be introduced to Stable Foam to treat impediments such as: bitumen, heavy oil, and asphaltenes.

At ADL, we are continually testing new Stable Foam formulas for one compelling reason. There are no two wells which are identical. Each well has its own combination of variables which are taken into consideration when the Stable Foam is customized at surface.

ADL is continuously striving to expand the applications of Stable Foam to address all aspects of well exploration, construction completion, operations and fracturing. Stable Foam can carry a variety of gases and liquids including materials now being explored by the industry for more effective well fracturing.
